The space

Cozy with a capital C, yet spacious — over 500 square feet of private living space on the lower level of our home, with your own attached bathroom. The afternoon sun splashes onto the bed from the south-facing window, and in the evening a cushy two-seater sofa and a Roku TV with streaming make it easy to settle in. A dedicated router gives you 253 Mbps WiFi and there's a proper work desk for calls.

You'll sleep on a very comfortable queen bed; a twin bed can be set up for a third guest, and a Pack 'n Play travel crib and high chair are available for little ones. Your own washer and dryer are right in the suite. A couple of honest notes: being a basement, the ceiling averages 6.5 ft, and footsteps from the floor above can carry — we provide earplugs and a white noise machine, but very light sleepers should factor it in.

🚇 Getting around: Ossington subway and bus station is steps away; Christie Pits, Trinity Bellwoods and downtown are all an easy hop. Bike lanes and 24-hour bike rentals are just down the street.

Hi! We're Emilee & Pranay — a Canadian-Indian couple, and this is our home. With Emilee from Canada and Pranay from India, you'll find a blend of traditions, food and music woven through the house.

Pranay's cousin Saachi lives with us and co-hosts, and our friend Mihir looks after guests when we travel. Between us all, someone's always around if you need anything.

We also share the house with Kumbah the dog 🐶 and Oliver the cat 🐱. They don't come into guest areas, though you may meet Kumbah in the kitchen with us — she's a sweet rescue, and a little shy with new faces, so let one of us introduce you first. We can't guarantee an allergy-free home, as the heating and cooling is shared.
